The Montessori method is an approach to educating children based on the research and experiences of Italian physician and educator Maria Montessori. It arose essentially from Dr. Montessori's discovery of what she referred to as "the child's true normal nature" in 1907, which happened in the process of her experimental observation of young children given freedom in an environment prepared with materials designed for their self-directed learning activity. The method itself aims to duplicate this experimental observation of children to bring about, sustain and support their true natural way of being
History Of  Franchise: This Montessori school was founded in 1994 by the owner and director. She taught at a local Montessori school during her older daughter’s preschool years. After the birth of her second daughter, she decided to stay home to raise her youngest daughter while at the same time offering Montessori education to other children in her home. A larger demand and waiting list led her to expand her operations into a small lease space in 2002, with the hopes of moving into a permanent location at a later time. The school stayed at or near capacity for the next three years with very little advertisement at that location. Most students were enrolled by word-of-mouth referrals. In May of 2005, the school moved into its current location. All of the students began classes at the new location in July of 2005. The owners pursuit of great education for young people says a lot for their program and the talented staff.
